Position Overview
Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a local dedicated grocery account based out of Shelbyville IN. This is a high-activity multi-stop position with consistent freight reliable scheduling and daily home time.
Drivers will operate on a set local route with steady miles and frequent stops making this ideal for drivers who want to stay active and be home every day.
Route & Freight Details
- Local deliveries within a 60-mile radius of Shelbyville IN
- Dedicated grocery account
- 100% touch freight (pallet jack unloads)
- Average miles per week
- Multiple stops per route
- Consistent high-volume freight
Schedule
- Home daily
- 2 consecutive days off each week
- Start time: Between 9:00 PM 4:00 AM
- Night driving required
- Weekends and holidays required
Pay & Compensation
- Avg Weekly Pay: $1300$1400
- Avg Annual Pay: Up to $70000
Pay Structure:
- CPM: $0.56 $0.62 (based on experience)
Additional Pay:
- Stop Pay: $20 per stop
- Unload Pay: $55 per unload
- Detention Pay: $15/hour
Equipment & Work Setup
- Day cabs
- Slip seat operation
- Must commute daily to the distribution center
Training
- $100/day during training
- 12 day ride along
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
- Must live within 60 miles of Shelbyville IN
- Must be able to perform touch freight (pallet jack unloading)
- Must be able to work night shifts weekends and holidays
