Specialized is looking to hire a senior Leader of Helmets. This person is responsible for driving product and business results while leading and inspiring the product creation team. This is a key stakeholder and voice within the brand that works cross functionally to build category strategies and execute at the highest level. Moreover were looking for someone to dream what the future of helmets is and to find a way to make it happen.
HOW YOULL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Inspire a team of highly passionate product creators to build the future of helmet innovation for Specialized.
- Bring energy and passion to drive collaboration innovation and teamwork within one of the brands key product categories.
- Manage the business for the helmet category through driving line planning development and marketing to meet strategic goals and business objectives.
- Build and maintain factory relationships driving for quality costing delivery and innovation while continually exploring options for further innovations.
- Recruit manage and develop talent within the team while fostering collaboration and tight-knit teamwork.
- Present category strategies and product launches to internal and external groups.
- Potential to lead additional R&D efforts based on experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
- 10 years experience in helmet product creation preferably category or business management.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a passionate fast-paced environment.
- Sharp business acumen ability to understand trends and record of managing successful businesses.
- Track record of bringing iconic designs to market.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations for helmets.
- World-class presentation skills and ability to influence.
- Sales experience in retail or experience working alongside sales teams.
- Ability to simplify complex problems test ideas and move forward with speed.
- Desire to lead inspire and grow personally and for the team.
- Based on-site in Morgan Hill CA.
PAY
Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:
California Base Pay Range: ($129326$188184)
*At Specialized your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and will depend on your work experience skills certification and location.
