Job Summary
Overview
Job Title: Post Closing Specialist
Location:Santa Ana CA - Remote OK ( If living within 31 miles of Santa Ana CA or Austin TX will need to be able to work 2 days on-site)
Pay: $21/hr.
Primary responsibilities include preparing real estate loans to ensure they are closed in conformance with all underwriting guidelines. Post-Closing prepares loans for booking and settlement with agencies tracks and clears post close file exceptions.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs post audit review of secondary market loans based upon regulatory agency and investor requirements.
- Prepares files for other audits of secondary market loans.
- Disbursement of all residential mortgage loans.
- Reconciliation of all HUD/Settlement Statements with FICS.
- Mailing customer survey letters.
- Coordinating trailing documents to outside investors
- Reviewing all mortgage loans for compliance following QC checklist.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

- Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans and investor guidelines.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Prior experience and proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook Word Excel etc.).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years experience in this field of work is preferred.
