AsaGlobal AT OperationsExcellence(AT OE)Space EfficiencySeniorEngineerat Micron Technology Inc. you will play a critical role in driving network-wideSpaceEfficiencyperformance through close collaboration with multiple manufacturing sites and crossfunctional partners. This positionis responsible forimprovingMicrons NetworkSpace EfficiencyPrograms while embedding an Operations Excellence mindset across the Backend Manufacturing organization.

The role requires strongexpertiseinfactorylayout designmanagement factory physics foundational knowledge advanced data analytics and structured problem solving toidentifygaps analyze root causes and translate insights into actionable improvement initiatives. You and your team will guide network site teams by leadingSpace optimizationfocused continuous improvement projects aligning business processes and standardizing methodologies and metrics across the network.

You willfacilitateregularperformance reviews with site stakeholders steward the developmentand governanceofexistingprocessesand newmethodologies andestablisha clear roadmap for metric standardization andmethodologyblueprinting. This role also serves as a key driver for highimpact analytical projects andbest-knownmethod (BKM) deployment aligned with MicronsSpace Efficiencystrategy.

Responsibilities

Lead and prioritize global peer groups to agree on the plan and schedule for reaching areaobjectives. Ensure the plan and scheduleto boostprogress in critical performance areas. Clearly outline the timeline to fulfill these demands. Track alignment decisions and holdresponsible forthose who stray from the agreed plan or direction.

CollaboratewithKEGon future technology requirements and model of record requirements to ensure that New TOR tools roadmap isfeasiblenot onlytogreen fieldsitesbut alsotothebrownfieldsites.

Interface with corporate EHSS and site Process Hazard Analysis engineers to ensure safety requirements are met.

Interface with Sites partners inestablishingand aligning consistent practices of adoptionon business processesto meet Space Efficiency requirements.

Collaborate with FacilitiesAutomation KEG planningand equipmentteams site stakeholders in the designing of both green fieldand brown field sites in factory layout design optimization toattainthe best Space efficiency.

Drive network standardization of metrics measurement scope and definitions methodologies business processes and modeling to ensure consistent adoption across backend manufacturing sites.

Design develop andmaintainmeasurementmetrics reports tools enablers and methodologies to enableaccurateperformance measurement and effective improvement of actions.

Conduct deep dive analysis from CAD layouts providing recommendations or solutionstospacecreation and space optimization.

Requirements

Bachelors degree inEngineering

Minimum 2Years of recent Semiconductor experiencespecifically focusedonlayout design and planning in IndustrialEngineering.

Direct experience with Green Fieldfactory layout design and proventrack recordor improving production tool space density

Knowledgeable and has experience in Autodesk AutoCADor equivalent software

Proven capability of dealing with complexity andtheability toutilizeresources effectively to bring clarity to require actions.

Demonstrated the ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups both within and outside the department.

Acurious analytical mindset and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborativeteam-orientedenvironment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and aligncross functionalstakeholders.

Exceptional customer focus and commitment to deliveringhigh-qualityoutcomes.

Practical knowledgeindataanalysisand structuredproblem-solvingmethodologies.

Ability to independentlyutilizeexisting tools and templates to address complex situations with minimal guidance.
