The Product Development Failure Analysis (PDFA) team supports nextgeneration device development by identifying and resolving componentlevel issues during new product introduction. The team partners closely with Product Process Quality and Test Engineering groups to enable rapid production ramp and early timetomarket.

As a PYE PDFA Engineer this role focuses on evaluating product reliability and performing component failure analysis to drive improvements across fabrication assembly and test processes. The position uses electrical characterization physical analysis AIenabled tools and statistical methods to identify failure mechanisms and support corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical and statistical failure analysis to understand and characterize failure mechanisms.
Identify causes of component failures using datadriven analysis.
Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to resolve fabrication assembly process and test flowrelated issues.
Apply AI tools and statistical methodologies to analyze data and improve component performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Physics or Materials Science.
Knowledge of electrical characterization and statistical analysis techniques.
Ability to collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to address processrelated issues.
Experience using AI and statistical tools for data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Coursework in VLSI device physics semiconductor processes Python or statistics.
Experience with hardware software semiconductor design or telecommunications engineering assignments.
