As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in CHERRY HILL NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and support access awareness throughout the site. You will deliver outstanding customer service communicate with professionalism and contribute to a caring agile reliable and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients visitors and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols verifying credentials and reporting security-related concerns maintenance issues and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by providing clear directions assisting with de-escalation when appropriate and following Allied Universal standards for reporting communication and post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
