Location: Ithaca New York
Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Gross Pay: $2468

Schedule: 3 shifts per week
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. The RN will provide comprehensive patient-centered care support families and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
Deliver direct patient care within the full scope of RN practice
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Implement and evaluate patient care interventions
Address physical emotional psychological educational and spiritual patient needs
Accurately collect document and communicate patient information
Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Support patient and family education and community health initiatives
Charge Nurse Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient flow within the Emergency Department
Assign staff and oversee daily departmental operations
Receive and manage pre-arrival reports from EMS and external providers
Collaborate with triage staff to prioritize walk-in patients
Coordinate admissions and bed placement with hospital leadership
Work closely with RNs providers ED technicians clerical staff and crisis evaluators
Demonstrate strong leadership communication and conflict resolution skills
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Proven experience in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting preferred
Strong organizational communication and time-management skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
