Role Overview
We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our Invoice to Cash team. This role focuses on customer collections and Accounts Receivable management ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage collections activities to ensure timely receipt of payments from customers.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts via email calls and escalation processes.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Customer Service Finance) to resolve disputes and billing issues.
Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and update systems accordingly.
Prepare collection performance reports and provide insights for process improvements.
Participate in special projects and handle ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
Ensure compliance with internal controls company policies and GAAP standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Experience: 5-10 years in Collections / Accounts Receivable management.
Fluent English and Japanese skill

o Strong understanding of collection strategies dispute resolution and credit risk management.
o Ability to negotiate payment arrangements and maintain positive customer relationships.
Accuracy & Attention to Detail:
o Ensure error-free documentation and reporting.
Communication Skills:
o Persuasive and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving:
o Analyze aging reports identify root causes of delays and implement corrective actions.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
