Scope of work
The Nurse Supervisor coordinates and organizes personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization in a cost-effective manner. Collaborates to provide crisis management interpret policy and procedure and assure timely and effective communication and collaboration between individuals and departments. The Nurse Supervisor represents the organizational leadership across all venues on a 24-hour basis and collaborates to make decisions and act on behalf of the leadership team.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in nursing Required.
Masters degree Preferred.
Required Completion of a Nurse Executive Council approved leadership development educational program within 1 year of position entry.
3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required.
1 year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience required for external applicants Required.
1 year of relevant demonstrated informal leadership experience required for internal applicants may include but are not limited to: Charge Lead Nurse Charge Nurse responsibilities leadership on behalf of unit/site/system at Shared Governance Council Required.
MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
