Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Erie PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors with professional customer service communicate clearly and use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and report concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when needed.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity disturbances and/or other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to management and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas such as lobby spaces parking areas ATM areas entrances and perimeter to identify and report hazards policy violations and/or unusual conditions.
- Control access points by monitoring doors checking identification where required and directing visitors to proper areas in accordance with site policies.
- Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrols incidents maintenance issues and/or customer service interactions and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
