Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control in Bermuda Dunes CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control monitor activity and support a welcoming environment for residents guests and this role you will remain visible conduct routine patrols and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents visitors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points at the residential location verify credentials and/or visitor information and document arrivals departures and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter observing for conditions that could impact residents guests and/or property and reporting security-related concerns.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of the location following post orders and communicating clearly with residents guests and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
