In this role you will serve as the primary content creator across NVFS digital platformstranslating program outcomes volunteer engagement donor impact and community partnerships into meaningful stories. You will collaborate closely with the Development and Communications team as well as program staff to execute a cohesive and strategic digital content presence across our website blog newsletter and social media channels.

This position has a salary in high 50s and low 60s and is a hybrid role.
In this role you will:
Plan create and publish content across NVFS digital platforms
Support and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely and strategic content delivery
Write blog posts feature stories newsletters and social media content
Identify and develop stories that highlight program impact client experiences and community partnerships
Manage and execute social media content including short-form video and graphics
Monitor performance and support reporting on digital engagement metrics
Maintain and update website content using WordPress or similar platforms
Assist with digital campaigns events and outreach initiatives
Develop marketing materials such as flyers and digital assets
Organize and maintain content libraries and digital assets
Collaborate across teams to support communications efforts
Your Background: We understand that you may obtain skills through a variety of professional personal educational and volunteer experiences.
- Bachelors degree in Communications or a related field relevant work experience or a combination of relevant education and experience
- 2-4 years of related experience in digital communications content marketing nonprofit communications or storytelling preferred
- Oral and written fluency in English; Spanish language fluency a plus
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media content strategies across platforms including organic content short-form video and basic paid promotion.
- Strong experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite to create branded marketing materials including social graphics and program flyers
- Demonstrated experience developing written content for blogs email campaigns websites and social media platforms
- Experience maintaining and updating website content in WordPress or a similar content management system
- Experience working within project management tools such as or similar to track deliverables and manage content workflows
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment
- Digital and technical proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of background checks required upon hire
- May be called upon to work beyond normal working hours
- Work is done primarily in an office and remote environment but some travel to community locations Agency office sites and meetings may be required.
