As a Security Officer Gatehouse Driver in Waddell AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors drivers and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorization and document arrivals departures and deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
- Support traffic flow at gates and loading areas by helping to manage access for employees contractors and freight carriers while following established post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
