Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement a scalable modern data architecture that supports both analytical and operational needs across the organization. You will define high-quality data products establish robust data models and architect end-to-end data flows within a lakehouse environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data is accurate secure well-governed and readily accessible for analytics and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define data products including dimensional models such as Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Architect scalable data acquisition patterns from databases APIs files and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Design and implement data validation enrichment and transformation processes using Python and pySpark.
• Establish frameworks for data quality metadata management data governance and security.
• Define strategies for data distribution and consumption via files APIs messaging platforms warehouses like Snowflake and analytics tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to optimize performance scalability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data architectures follow best practices for reliability performance and maintainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in data architecture data engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in data modeling including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Experience designing modern lakehouse architectures (e.g. Apache Iceberg).
• Proficiency with analytics and query platforms such as Trino (Presto) StarRocks and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Python and pySpark for data processing and transformation.
• Experience with streaming and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Strong understanding of data governance data quality frameworks metadata management and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in data architecture cloud platforms or related technologies.
• Experience building scalable platforms supporting real-time and batch processing.
• Familiarity with metadata catalogs lineage tools and governance frameworks.
• Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS Azure or GCP.
