TheOnboarding Specialist plays a key role in creating a smooth positive and wellâorganized experience for all new team members joining Valley View. This role coordinates all aspects of preâhire and newâhire onboarding ensuring each employee feels welcomed prepared and supported from the moment an offer is accepted through their first days on the job.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
- Coordinate all preâemployment requirements including background checks drug screenings health screenings and other compliance steps
- Schedule prepare and lead new hire first day/orientation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees throughout the onboarding process
- Partner with IT to ensure timely setup of equipment system access and technology needs
- Enter verify and maintain employee information in the HRIS system
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department leaders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Track onboarding tasks documentation and completion of required trainings
- Continuously refine onboarding processes to improve efficiency and employee experience
- Provide backup coverage to Human Resources front desk
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy work environment
- Customerâservice mindset with a friendly professional approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using new systems
- Experience working in Human Resources highly preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms highly preferred
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field highly preferred
SALARY RANGE
- $26.86 - $39.50/hour
- Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience.
