As a Security Officer Armed Response Driver in Leander TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to customers visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related activities and emergency response actions when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter theft trespassing and other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances high-traffic areas and exterior locations for unusual activity and/or report suspicious behavior hazards or policy violations to site leadership and local authorities when needed.
- Support retail loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity assisting with de-escalation and following post orders related to detainment procedures and evidence handling.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
