As a Security Officer Lobby Access Monitor in Garner NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting relevant details through established channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
- Support staff visitors and/or vendors with directions access questions and site protocol guidance while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
