Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative role at our Lantmännen Unibake bakery in Miton Keynes. This role works permanent days
12-hour shifts covering days and weekdays/weekends on a two-week rota. Shift patterns are 4 days on 3 days off 3 days on 4 days off.
You will be great at
- Emptying Product waste bins into the compactors
- Clean the waste bins before sending them back into the bakery
- Emptying any clean packing waste into the correct baler and then placing the baled waste onto the trailer
- Emptying any general waste from the offices into the general waste skip
- Emptying any recyclable waste from the offices into the recycled waste skip
- Reporting on a daily basis the levels of the compactors LPG red diesel and any consumables that are required
You are:

- Hard working and dedicated
Motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to learn
You have:
- Previous experience in FLT driving
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- General understanding of continuous improvement
- Ability to follow strict operating parameters and procedures
- Ability to contribute to problem solving process optimisation and continuous improvement activities
- Ability to maintain focus and drive when dealing with fast paced and repetitive tasks
- Good eye for detail with high standards
