DescriptionPRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquire and maintain knowledge of Emerson Products (mainly DeltaV).
Network engineering such as virtualization of our customers infrastructure.
Provide active on-site and remote service and maintenance to our customers situated in North East and West of Netherlands.
Supervise actively install and maintain products new systems and system extensions by our customers.
- Participate in emergency on-call service on shift basis (after 1 year on the job).
Investigate and report system related customer disruptions and questions; solve the problem and provide or recommend a solution.
Coordinate repairs and regular spare parts for customers.
Provide the necessary information to allow administrative follow-up and order handling.
Communicate effectively with local and international colleagues to assure professional business relationships with our customers.
Stay up to date with administration related to your customer visits.
Train customers on how to deal with maintenance issues as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Fluent in Dutch and English language fluent.
Graduate or Engineering degree with technical direction or equivalent through experience.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
Strong problem-solving capability.
Knowledge of Emerson Process Management Systems products applications and underlying technology is a preference.
Able to adapt to lastminute changes in planning.
A preferred background in a similar function for three years as junior service and start-up engineer
