Job Summary

Position: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Specialty: Labor and Delivery
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (19:00 07:30)
Contract Duration: 22 Weeks
Desired Location: Saratoga Springs New York

Scheduling & Work Requirements

Candidate should be available to work through the summer
Floating: May be required within skillset

Licensure & Certifications

Active New York State RN License (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Fetal Monitoring certification (within the last 2 years) required

Clinical Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
Prior travel experience required
Strong Labor & Delivery experience required

Required Skills Include:

Circulating Cesarean Sections (C-sections)
Labor support and delivery care
Immediate newborn care and stabilization

Nursery Responsibilities

Must be comfortable caring for newborns on a regular basis (potentially every shift)
Ability to:
- Assist with delivery and initial stabilization of newborns
- Provide continued care in the nursery until transport (if required)
Experience required in immediate newborn care and stabilization (not ongoing critical neonatal care)
