Job Description
Security Officer (Path to Armed) Up to $20.55 / hr
Location: St. Louis MO
Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers who are motivated to grow into an armed role within six months. This position offers a clear advancement path allowing you to begin in an unarmed capacity and increase your earnings upon successful completion of armed certification requirements.
Pay That Grows With You
Starting Pay: $18.93/hr (Unarmed)
Increased Pay: $20.55/hr (Upon becoming armed within 6 months)
What Youll Do
Provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures
Follow site-specific policies and respond to emergency situations as needed
Respond to incidents in a calm problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas
What Youll Need
Must be 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
1 year of security military or law enforcement experience preferred
Valid drivers license with a good driving record
Willingness to become armed within 6 months of hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening (as permitted by law)
Ability to complete required training and licensing based on state/local requirements
*A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only
