Quality Manager
Location: Enschede
Contract: Full-Time Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to join a growing manufacturing business based in Enschede. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving quality excellence continuous improvement and operational performance across the site.
You will play a central role within the plant leadership team ensuring that quality standards are embedded across all areas of the business while leading improvements in products processes and systems.
The Role
As Quality Manager you will lead the sites quality function driving a strong culture of continuous improvement right-first-time performance and operational discipline.
Youll work cross-functionally with engineering production and leadership teams to resolve issues improve processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the site Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects scrap and warranty issues
- Translate strategic quality objectives into actionable operational plans
- Champion a strong quality culture supporting change management and team engagement
- Lead structured problem-solving activities using PDCA 8D Root Cause Analysis and QC tools
- Monitor and report on key quality KPIs presenting performance to senior leadership
- Support new product introduction (NPI) ensuring quality is embedded from design through to production
- Oversee product specifications testing processes and supplier quality performance
- Lead mentor and develop the quality team fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between quality production and business objectives
What Were Looking For
- Degree in Engineering Quality Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing quality with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality standards
- Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement and quality performance enhancements
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of quality tools such as APQP PPAP FMEA DOE SPC
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change in a fast-paced environment
