Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

Astronics-PECO located in picturesque Clackamas Oregon near the foothills of Mt. Hood designs certifies manufactures and sells a wide range of products to commercial government and military markets throughout the world. Our highly engineered interior and structural aerospace products are supplied to the largest aircraft manufacturers and are installed in aircraft around the globe and our military products are used in critical national defense applications. The Max-Viz enhanced visions systems (EVS) are designed and certified for use as an improvement to safety by a vast array of airplanes helicopters and unmanned-aerial-vehicles in the commercial government and military marketplace. PECO-Controls are well established temperature control devices designed for applications where high quality is a must such as the hospitality industry commercial cooking and other critical applications.

We are hiring aSenior levelAccounts Payable professional. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and understanding of general accounting principles. To be the most successful in this role you will have worked in a manufacturing environment with a high volume of vendor accounts.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Match invoices to receiving documents.
• Reconcile purchase orders with items received and billed.
• Accurately enter edit and post invoice data into the ERP.
• Research and resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
• File copy fax and other work-related tasks as needed.
• Electronically scan payments/invoices and back-up documentation.
• Coordinate processing accounts payable payment requests including checks wire transfers credit card and ACH payments.
• Support Accounting Managers request for audit documentation as needed.

Desired Knowledge Skills Abilities and Experience

• High School Diploma and aminimum threeyears of related experience or training preferrably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and techniques.
• Ability to work with a calculator and basic office machines.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing.
• Ability to research and analyze various types of data.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail accuracy and thoroughness.
