Were seeking a Fullstack Engineer who is passionate about creating world-class AI solutions and thrives in collaborative fast-paced environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly visible cross-functional team at the forefront of AI innovation within eBay.

As a Fullstack Engineer youll collaborate with Software Engineers Researchers and Data Engineers across the entire AI lifecycle from early experimentation and prototyping to deploying production-grade systems that support millions of users globally. You will focus on Generative AI systems intelligent agents and the foundational infrastructure that enables these technologies at scale.

What You Will Accomplish

• Design build and optimize large-scale Generative AI and agent-based systems that enable intelligent adaptive and efficient ecommerce experiences.

• Lead development of agent-led user experiences including systems leveraging task decomposition tool use memory and dynamic planning.

• Advance eBays internal GenAI platform by developing reusable components APIs and frameworks that accelerate the creation of AI-powered applications.

• Monitor and improve performance reliability and responsible AI usage of models and agents in production.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers data engineers and designers to bridge experimentation and deployment with measurable business impact.

• Drive innovation and iteration through experimentation peer collaboration and integration of the latest advances in AI/ML and intelligent agents.

What You Will Bring

• 8 years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong full-stack background.

• Proven expertise in back-end development using JVM languages (Java / Kotlin / Scala) and front-end development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and platforms including Spring Boot React Docker Kubernetes and GraphQL.

• A growth mindset and willingness to work beyond your comfort zone continuously learning and adapting to new technologies and problem domains.

• Experience mentoring junior engineers setting engineering best practices and raising the overall quality and impact of the team.
