We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Sport and Fitnessto join our dynamic team at One Sixth Form College.

In this role you will organise and manage engaging learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their full potential in sport fitness and physical education. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons develop schemes of work and individual learning plans and assess students fairly and consistently in line with awarding body requirements. You will contribute to an inclusive and supportive learning environment promoting positive behaviour and encouraging students to develop both their practical and theoretical understanding of sport and fitness.

As part of a collaborative teaching team you will maintain accurate course documentation and student records review learner progress and support the development and assessment of functional skills. You will contribute to curriculum development attend team and centre meetings participate in student recruitment and induction processes and engage with parents colleagues and external partners where appropriate. The role also involves supporting centre events open evenings and the wider planning monitoring and evaluation of curriculum provision to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning for students aged 1619.

You will hold a relevant teaching qualification and have strong knowledge of curriculum developments and effective learning strategies within further education or secondary settings. You will demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills the ability to analyse student performance data and a commitment to inclusive practice equality and continuous professional development.
