We walk alongside individuals and families on their journey helping them navigate what can be complex and challenging systems and empowering them to reach their goals one step at a time.

About the role

As an Operations Manager in the Forced Marriage Specialist Support Program (FMSSP) you will provide support to the case management team who work intensively with individuals families and communities involved in the FMSSP. You will lead and develop a team in a recently established program and hold responsibility across multiple different program areas to ensure the team meets program specific goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support team to achieve the business plan outcomes and other organisational programs and initiatives.
• Ensure delivery of program services in accordance with program budgets Business Plans and in line with client needs and plans
• Ensure the appropriate management of risks and issues arising in the course of service management in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Participate in community awareness activities to promote understanding and prevention of Forced Marriages

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Social Work Social Science Psychology or Human Services
• Experience developing quality case plans or individual plans
• Demonstrated experience working autonomously with multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience working with individuals families or groups from a culturally appropriate perspective
• High level communication influencing liaison negotiation and mediation skills
• Current unrestricted driverslicence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
