Role Overview
MNLC is seeking an experienced Fundraising Volunteer to build donor relationships cultivate sponsorships and support community-driven fundraising initiatives. This role directly strengthens programs that help newcomers navigate life in Canada.
Responsibilities
Identify prospective donors sponsors and community partners.
Support donor cultivation stewardship and relationship-building.
Assist with fundraising campaigns events and community initiatives that support MNLC programs.
Develop partnership opportunities that align with MNLCs newcomer-focused services.
Support strategy development to increase funding sources supporting programs like English learning employment support and settlement services.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of nonprofit fundraising donor relations or sponsorship experience.
Experience working with community-based or immigrant-serving organizations is an asset.
Strong communication and networking abilities.
Professional maturity; not a student opportunity.
Ability to represent MNLC with professionalism and cultural awareness
