Job Summary
Private Family in Stamford CT Seeking a Nanny
Position: Full-Time Live-In Nanny
Schedule:Monday - Friday Split schedule (6:30 AM - 9:30AM 3:30 PM9:30PM) with flexibility; optional weekend hours (approximately 8 hours Saturdays preferred)
Salary: $30/hr after taxes if kids have a day off or early dismissal that means more hours and a higher salary
Start Date: ASAP
Relocation: Open to local candidates

The mother is self-employed with a demanding and ever-changing schedule so they are looking for someone adaptable reliable and proactive who can help maintain structure and support the childrens active lifestyle. The mother is very hands-on and values teamwork.

Household Staff: Cleaning service twice per month
Responsibilities
- Assist children with morning routines and school preparation (6:30 AM start)
- Kids laundry and tidy up their rooms
- School pick-up at 3:30 PM and transportation to activities
- Manage and coordinate busy after-school schedules
- Maintain tidiness in childrens areas and common spaces
- Clean up after children and keep spaces organized
- Assist with evening routines and bedtime (8:309:00 PM)
- Work collaboratively with a hands-on parent
- Provide occasional weekend coverage (if available)
Ideal Candidate & Personality
The ideal candidate is proactive organized and dependable with a calm and positive demeanor. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic household and able to adapt to a changing schedule. A nurturing personality combined with strong structure and initiative is key. The family is seeking someone who is flexible communicative and looking for a long-term role.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Prior experience in a similar role in a private household
- Excellent references
- Legal to work in the United States
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Comfortable managing an active schedule and energetic children
- Weekend availability is a plus but not required
