Position Summary:
Freestone Lake and Golf is one of our new developments and we are growing! We are looking for bartenders responsible for providing an exceptional experience in a refined upscale environment. This role requires social awareness ability to provide lateral service and a commitment to personalized guest interactions. This position will operate in a no tipping environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations surrounding the bartending profession
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional cocktails
- Craft background preferred but not required
- 1-2 years of experience as a bartender in a high end establishment
- Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and be responsive
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Work Environment:
- Ability to work all shifts when required during the day nights weekends and holidays.
- Walking prolonged standing some light lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Indoor and outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes and upholds the Freestone Lake and Golf Club brand and values
- Verify customer ages
- Mix traditional cocktails
- Process payments
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based upon customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive and exciting atmosphere
