As a Security Guard - Flex Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Wichita KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures access guidelines and other security-related policies and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas parking areas and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and common areas assist with visitor directions and queue management and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies entrances and patient care corridors.
- Document patrols incidents and observed conditions in required reports and logs and escalate issues per post orders and chain of command.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
