What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification managing visitor and vendor check-in and issuing and collecting site credentials as required.
• Monitor entry points sales-floor corridors loading and receiving areas and/or camera systems to help to deter unauthorized access theft-related activity and policy violations; report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with store management property operations and/or local public services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail spaces common areas and perimeter noting hazards unlocked doors and unusual conditions and documenting observations in daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state county and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
