Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is Santanders global division that supports some of the worlds most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients offering customised services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs.

The Private Debt Mobilization (PDM) team ensures the capital generation for the Group via distribution of assets. This is achieved through an Originate to Share model encompassing the various private-side distribution and structuring teams for Santanders corporate and institutional businesses (including loan syndicate structured sales repackaging credit insurance etc.) managing private debt distribution risk and offering bespoke distribution addition PDM manages the rotation of Santander CIBs portfolio to increase its profitability and reduce its capital usage.

The Private Credit Insurance team is responsible for the credit insurance product within the bank distributing the banks assets to the insurance market for capital optimisation and limit relief purposes. The team manage the banks relationships with the insurance companies and brokers and serve as the conduit between origination and the private credit insurance market.

The difference youll make:

• Supporting all stages of a transactions life cycle from origination structuring and executing of the private credit insurance product

• Working closely with internal teams brokers and insurance companies to close transactions in a timely manner

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with necessary governance and operational requirements.

• Monitor ongoing transactions with the help of the Middle Office teams

What youll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:

• Previous experience in the Private Credit Insurance market

• Knowledge of Global Banking and Global Transactional Banking products

• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Demonstrable ability to take initiative and propose solutions

• High degree of commitment in a very demanding environment

It would also be nice for you to have:

• Additional European languages especially Spanish

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (Engineering Finance Science and Mathematics)

• Postgraduate studies (MBA or equivalent)

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.
