Job Summary

  • Unique highautonomy advisory role shaping academic integrity practice across UWA with direct influence on policy interpretation misconduct prevention and staff capability uplift.
  • Specialist case management portfolio where you lead complex assessments of academic misconduct contributing to sectorcritical institutional standards.
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
  • Base salary range: $104243 $115661 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area

The Academic Integrity Team in the Centre for Integrity and Impact in Teaching Excellence (CiiTE) sits in the Office of the PVCA and supports the maintenance and development of academic integrity across the University.

About the opportunity

  • Support the development interpretation and delivery of academic integrity resources training and proactive initiatives that strengthen institutional practice.
  • Manage suspected academic misconduct cases including major cases by assessing evidence interpreting policy and recommending appropriate pathways.
  • Provide authoritative advice to academic staff and act as a key contact for academic integrity queries contributing to process improvement and policy clarity.

About you

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or substantial experience demonstrating specialist knowledge in academic integrity and complex case management.
  • Experienced in managing academic misconduct investigations interpreting policy and applying informed judgement in complex or ambiguous matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear documentation and provide authoritative guidance.
  • Highly organised able to set priorities meet deadlines and work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential material ensuring accuracy in evidence assessment and case preparation.
