Description

As a Senior Field Service Technician Building Automation Systems here at Honeywell you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Automation and Controls business unit in Charlotte. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business. You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and youll work out of our premiere showcase site at our global headquarters in Charlotte NC. This location serves as a hub for innovation and collaboration providing you with a unique opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals.

You will report to the Field Service Supervisor based in Morrisville NC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers
Provide advanced technical support and expertise for our Automation and Controls solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
Conduct training sessions for customers and field service technicians
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements and provide recommendations for improvement

You will be working on a 40-hour work week schedule with overtime as needed to meet business demands. You will be assigned a company vehicle phone and laptop for business use.

In this role you will impact the efficiency productivity and safety of our customers operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.



Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

High School Diploma or equivalent

5 years experience with building automation systems.

Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Automation and Controls technologies

Excellent problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience in project management and execution

Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships

Experience with Honeywell building management systems products such as Niagara JACE ComfortPoint EBIBACnet or LON.

Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements

Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion

Bachelors degree or technical/professional certificate
