Heidelberg Materials is one of the worlds largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9000 employees.
What Youll Be Doing
- Operate stockpile equipment safely and efficiently to support production and material flow.
- Monitor material quality and ensure proper placement blending and storage of aggregates.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
- Work collaboratively with plant quarry and dispatch teams to meet operational demands.
- Follow all safety environmental and operational procedures with consistent attention to detail.
What Are We Looking For
- Proven ability to operate heavy mobile equipment safely and with sound judgment.
- Strong situational awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Capability to identify material or equipment issues and take timely appropriate action.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-focused environment.
- Reliability adaptability and a willingness to learn and follow established procedures.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level
