Job Description
AmTrust is a global insurance provider offering risk-management solutions and business underwriting. Today AmTrust International underwrites over $1.8 billion of gross written premiums and employs more than 1500 employees globally.
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our London team on a 6month fixedterm contract.
This role sits within our Specialty Business Partnering team and plays a key part in supporting Lead Underwriters and Senior Business Partners across a portfolio of Specialty products.
You will help drive commercial decisionmaking by producing highquality financial and underwriting management information analysing product performance against plan forecast and prior periods and supporting both the annual business planning process and periodic forecasting cycles. You will also contribute to the threeyear strategic planning cycle for your assigned product areas develop and enhance financial models to deliver robust and timely insights and work closely with Underwriting Claims Operations and the wider Finance teams to ensure clear aligned and commercially focused outcomes.
To succeed in this role you will bring a background in financial services ideally within the insurance sector along with a recognised accounting qualification such as ACA ACCA CIMA or an equivalent. You will have strong analytical capabilities and experience developing and working with complex financial models supported by excellent Excel skillswith VBA knowledge considered an advantageand confidence handling large datasets. Effective stakeholder management and communication skills are essential as is an understanding of relevant accounting standards including US UK and/or Irish GAAP.
