Title: Senior Instructional Designer
Location: Chennai
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to create impactful learner-centered e-learning solutions tailored for clients in the BFSI this role you will play a pivotal part in designing and developing high-quality digital learning experiences that align with business objectives and adult learning principles. Your work will directly influence the effectiveness of training programs ensuring knowledge retention and measurable learning outcomes. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts clients and cross-functional teams to deliver engaging interactive and technically sound e-learning modules on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive e-learning modules and instructional content for BFSI clients using industry best practices.
- Create comprehensive storyboards scripts and learning flow diagrams to guide course development.
- Build dynamic and engaging learning experiences using Articulate Storyline Rise or other authoring tools.
- Partner with clients and subject matter experts to gather requirements clarify learning objectives and align content with business needs.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently ensuring adherence to deadlines quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with graphic designers multimedia developers and internal teams throughout the production lifecycle.
- Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders to refine and improve course content and delivery.
- Apply proven instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE SAM) and adult learning theories to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate project documentation timelines and clear communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in instructional design preferably within the BFSI or corporate training sector.
- Strong proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise with experience in developing interactive e-learning content.
- Excellent storytelling scripting and storyboard creation skills.
- Solid understanding of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning deployment workflows.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management client interaction and project coordination.
- Familiarity with instructional design frameworks and adult learning principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Education Communications or a related field.
- Experience in BFSI training or financial services education is preferred.
