Job Summary
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of standardized and highly specialized analyses of tests in Chemistry Immunology Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Microbiology and/or Blood Bank.

What Youll Do
- Performs standardized and specialized laboratory testing across chemistry immunology hematology coagulation urinalysis microbiology and blood bank.
- Ensures accurate reliable and timely test results throughout preanalytical analytical and postanalytical phases.
- Supports patient diagnosis treatment and clinical decisionmaking through highquality laboratory services.
- Utilizes computer and phone systems to facilitate communication and workflow efficiency.
- Builds strong customer relationships while delivering a professional positive and empathetic service experience.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology / Clinical Laboratory Science / Biological Science or equivalent
- Current Licensure as a CLS in the State of California
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the hospital
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- This is an on-site role @ Foothill Regional Medical Center in Tustin CA
- The hourly rate is: $55.00 per hour
