As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Roving Patrol in Greensboro NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher education location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet students staff and visitors with customer-focused service communicate clearly and document observations and incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and established security-related procedures including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for irregular conditions; verify authorization where required and assist with visitor directions and general inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; initiate notifications coordinate with campus officials and/or local responders and provide assistance as directed.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports activity logs and shift pass-downs; document observations accurately and communicate security-related information to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
