Role Overview
Are you passionate about the intersection of Cloud Architecture and Generative AI The Google Centre of Excellence (CoE) is looking for a visionary Technical Architect to join our APAC team.
In this pivotal role you will be the technical bridge between Googles cutting-edge Gemini Enterprise ecosystem and CGIs diverse Business Units (BUs). You will not just design systems; you will be an evangelist and architect for the next generation of AI-driven solutions across the APAC Strategic Business Unit.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities
. Drive Gemini Enterprise Adoption: Act as the primary technical lead for accelerating the integration of Gemini Enterprise across the APAC SBU. You will help teams move from experimentation to enterprise-grade production.
. Collaborative Solutioning: Partner closely with various BUs to identify high-impact business challenges. You will design and architect bespoke solutions and use cases that leverage the full power of the Gemini ecosystem (Vertex AI Gemini Pro/Ultra Multimodal capabilities).
. Architectural Leadership: Provide end-to-end architectural oversight ensuring that AI solutions are scalable secure and integrated seamlessly with existing backend infrastructures.
. Innovation & Prototyping: Lead the development of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that demonstrate the value of GenAI to our clients helping BUs win new business and optimize internal operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must Have Skills:
Experience
8 years of professional experience in software engineering and system architecture.
Programming
Deep proficiency in Python or Java (Python preferred for AI/ML workflows).
Backend & APIs
Strong expertise in building robust backend systems and designing/consuming RESTful APIs.
Database Mastery
Proven experience with at least one major database (e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB Big Query Oracle)
Architecture
Demonstrated ability to design distributed systems microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Soft Skills
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Experience
. Hands-on experience with developing AI & GenAI based applications experience of using Gemini / Vertex AI.
. Understanding of LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain LlamaIndex RAG).
. Understanding of Agentic AI frameworks (e.g. CrewAI LangGraph AutoGen)
