Job Summary

ESY Connect Program Teaching Assistants

Summer Program: July 6 2026 - August 6 2026

3 days (Tue - Thur) 9:00AM - 12:00PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma.
Ability and desire to work with children with Special Education.
Ability to take direction from and work under the supervision of one or more special education teachers.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Student Services may find appropriate and acceptable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in a small group and/or on a one-to-one basis with students as assigned by the teacher.
Willingness to be trained in specific behavioral techniques.
Attend in-service training sessions that pertain to special education.
Perform such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the classroom teacher the Extended Year Coordinator and / or the Director of Student Services.

Salary: Current FPS Teaching Assistants will be paid their 2025-26 regular rate of pay.

External Candidates - $19.00/hr.
