Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Stand-Up Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in East El this role you will operate a stand-up forklift to efficiently receive store transfer and pick products following company procedures. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading freight from transportation trucks while ensuring that operations run smoothly in a fast-paced hands-on environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move locate relocate and stack product.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for material handling.
Perform receiving put-away picking and inventory transfers accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload materials from trailers and delivery vehicles.
Adhere to company safety policies and best practices.
Comply with Good Distribution Practices (GDPs) food safety and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout and at the end of the shift.
Execute materials flow control through effective inventory practices.
Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisors or warehouse clerks.
Promote a positive productive work environment with a strong can-do attitude.

Core Competencies:

Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
Basic math skills and ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
Ability to follow and comply with SOPs and SQF (Safe Quality Food) procedures.
Effective at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to safety quality and organizational policies.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to stand for extended periods and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends as required.
Rotating Schedule Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 7:00pm Saturday: 8:00am - 6:00pm Sunday: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Qualifications:

Valid Stand-Up Forklift Operator Certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
High School diploma or GED
Must be comfortable working in cooler/freezer environment
