Job Summary

As a Graduate Engineering Geologist at AECOM you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to impactful projects while enhancing your skills and knowledge in geology and engineering. 

The position is ideal for individuals who can work independently embrace challenges and manage a diverse range of tasks. Your responsibilities will encompass both office-based analysis and fieldwork. 

How youll make a difference: 

  • Analyse and document geological data to support project planning and engineering design. 
  • Conduct geological and geotechnical assessments to guide engineering decisions effectively. 
  • Ensure adherence to local state and federal regulations as well as industry standards. 
  • Participate in site evaluations to assess geological conditions and monitor the progress of projects.

Qualifications :

  • Graduate Attributes: Were seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills a proactive and adaptable mindset and a commitment to professionalism and integrity. 
  • Bachelors Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Earth Science Geology Civil Engineering or any related discipline.   
  • Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.  
  • Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027. 
  • Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
