Operational Supervision & Quality Assurance:
Deliver daily fitness and wellness sessions including personal training group classes and recreational activities in line with brand standards.
Ensure all fitness facilities and equipment are clean safe and fully operational at all times.
Conduct routine checks of gym equipment and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
Ensure proper setup of fitness spaces prior to sessions maintaining ambiance hygiene and readiness.
Support spa and wellness operations as required to ensure smooth service flow.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
Provide personalized fitness assessments training programs and wellness guidance tailored to guest needs and preferences.
Deliver engaging and professional sessions that reflect Raffles emotional luxury and Fairmont service excellence.
Actively engage with guests to enhance their overall wellness journey and stay experience.
Respond to guest inquiries requests and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Support service recovery by ensuring prompt and effective resolution of guest concerns.
Team Collaboration & Development:
Work closely with spa therapists wellness curators and recreation team members to ensure aligned and seamless guest experiences.
Participate in daily briefings to stay updated on guest profiles VIP arrivals and operational priorities.
Share insights on guest preferences and wellness trends to support continuous improvement.
Support onboarding and knowledge-sharing within the team as required.
Coordination & Communication:
Liaise with Front Office Guest Relations and Spa Reception to coordinate bookings and guest requirements.
Ensure accurate communication of fitness schedules appointments and program details.
Promote wellness activities and fitness offerings across the resort.
Assist in organizing group classes wellness events and outdoor activities.
Commercial & Financial Performance:
Promote personal training sessions wellness programs and fitness packages to drive revenue opportunities.
Encourage upselling of related services and retail products where appropriate.
Ensure accurate recording of sessions and adherence to booking and billing procedures.
Support achievement of departmental revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
Standards Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health safety and fitness industry standards at all times.
Conduct sessions with a strong focus on guest safety proper technique and injury prevention.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and wellness profiles.
Uphold Raffles & Fairmont grooming and presentation standards.
Support sustainability and wellness initiatives aligned with brand values.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 23 years of experience as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
Recognized certification in Fitness Training Personal Training or related discipline.
Additional certifications in yoga Pilates or specialized wellness disciplines are an advantage.
Pre-opening experience is a plus.
