Job Summary
Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse Night Shift (Travel Contract)
Location: Rochester NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation
Travel Rate: $2174 per week (negotiable based on experience)
Local Rate: $1794 per week (negotiable based on experience)
Shift & Schedule
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular intensive care setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment adaptability and the ability to manage critically ill patients while supporting varying patient ratios as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care to critically ill cardiac patients in the CVICU
Continuously monitor and assess patient conditions responding to changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Manage varying patient ratios as required by unit needs
Accurately document patient care using electronic medical records (EPIC)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific must be in hand)
BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
CVICU experience preferred
Experience with EPIC charting system required
