Job Summary

A vacancy has arisen for a Wing Commander (Any Profession) to serve as SO1 GCSP Res Spt at

RAF Honington on Part Time Volunteer Reserve Terms and Conditions of Service (PTVR TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 1 September 2026 (or earlier subject to candidate status).

This role is responsible for providing a Reserves coherence function and staffing support to the Force HQs of the RAF Regiment and RAF Police. Additionally the role will support the RAF Regt and RAFP Reserves Coordination Cell. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to SME support to RAF Regt/RAFP Reserves:

CONOP/CONUSE/CONEMP
Development of PTVR Trg (career pathway and specialist)
Platform integration and employment
Fce structures development
Strategic Reserve Plans linking in with 2Gp
Policy and guidance to OF5 Fce Cdrs and Professions
