Position Description:
CGI is seeking experienced Full Stack Software Engineers to join our growing Space Defence & Intelligence (SDI) team. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that support Australias national security and next-generation space capabilities.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will contribute to the design development and delivery of secure scalable applications supporting defence and space systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing developing and maintaining full stack applications across front-end and back-end systems
Building secure high-performance software solutions for Defence and Space environments
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including systems network and Satcom engineers
Developing APIs microservices and user interfaces to support mission systems
Participating in code reviews testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
Troubleshooting debugging and optimising system performance
Ensuring compliance with security accreditation and quality standards
Contributing to system documentation architecture design and technical decision-making
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proven experience in full stack software development
Proficiency in one or more front-end frameworks (e.g. React Angular Vue)
Strong back-end development experience (e.g. Java )
Experience with APIs microservices architectures and modern development practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) or DevSecOps practices (desirable)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in secure multidisciplinary environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Active NV2 or PV Security Clearance (mandatory)
