Job Summary
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Far Rockaway NY
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $24/hour
Job Summary:
A Long Term Care (LTC) facility is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities and provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions
Provide mobility assistance including transferring and repositioning patients
Maintain a clean safe and comfortable environment for residents
Support nursing staff with patient care tasks
Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights
Document care provided in accordance with facility policies
Requirements:
Active CNA certification (State of New York)
Prior experience in Long Term Care (LTC) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
