Senior Control Systems Engineer
Aversan Inc.() is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be working with a team of Control Systems Engineers to develop detailed software specifications for Environmental Control Systems. Control Systems Design team is currently supporting projects for a variety of customers and applications including commercial military and urban air mobility platforms.

Responsibilities
- Design closed-loop control systems for thermal mechanical applications
- Develop simulation models of ECS and related systems
- Create and manage hardware/software requirements
- Conduct integration testing and author verification plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support customer sites
- Conduct hardware software and system integration testing
- Author system verification plans and procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integration and compliance
- Provide engineering support at internal and external customer sites
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Systems Design Aerospace Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong experience in requirements management and PID/ closed-loop control design
- Well versed with DOORS or MATLAB
- Experienced with PID/controlstuning running dynamic models in Simulink/Simscape linear control analysis system identification etc.
- Understanding of thermodynamics heat transfer fluid dynamics and thermal system controls
- Well versed in decomposingsystem level requirements into software functional requirements
- Familiarity with requirements verification and validation
