What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures hospital policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior units entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to alarms disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to clinical staff leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow assist with wayfinding and support staff with security-related requests such as escorts and presence on units when needed.
• Document incidents patrol observations and unusual conditions in reports and logs and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Work in a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Have 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
